Food and travel have always been interlinked, eventually birthing what some call culinary travel: foodies that also happen to jet set to places that have the best of the best cuisine. From small food stalls and hole in the wall restaurants to Grandmothers cooking out of their centuries old homes, wandering gastronomes linger while savouring delicacies many will never have the pleasure of tasting.
My passion for culinary travel is strong ( read more about me here) and based on 30+ years of being both a world traveling Carmen Sandiago and die hard epicurean. Enjoying food amidst friends ( new and old) has been my number one pleasure in life, and now that I am a wife and mother I take even greater joy in cooking and cuisine.
Epic Wanderings is devoted to sharing culinary travel photography + short quips about memorable meals from my own journeys, but it’s also about revering high quality food in general.
